Primary 5 stepped back in time to April 1912 and arrived in school dressed as passengers from the Titanic. As they boarded the ship at 8.50am their day was filled with ‘Titanic’ lessons. They decoded morse codes from the Titanic, acted out different scenarios of their journey on the ship and created iMovie’s. They made origami boats and experimented to see if they could make their boat ‘unsinkable’. Some pupils ‘hot seated’ being Captain Smith and others asked ‘Captain Smith’ questions about his time on the ship. We had a fantastic day with wonderful costumes and lots of cross-curricular learning.
